Our client purchased this 2 bedroom townhouse for investment
purposes. The townhouse was very run down and had no work
done to it in more than 30 years and was looking out of date
and tired.
The client wanted the townhouse renovated in the most astute and
cost effective fashion with the aim of maximising their returns.
It was decided that the scope of works would include a new kitchen including all appliances and the inclusion
of a dishwasher, new gas piping for instant hot water unit,
new separate toilet, replacing all tapware, upgrading of the
electrical system including new lighting, switches and
power points, replacement of the carpets, all door handles
and window furnishings throughout, landscaping and
a full internal repaint.
The end result is a stylish and comfortable townhouse ready
for its new owners. With careful selection of trades
people and some smart purchasing of appliances,
fixtures and fittings, the project was undertaken over a
period of 6 weeks (over the Christmas/New Year period)
and came in well under the client's budget.
